Interested bidders may obtain registration documents from the procurement office, Meru National Polytechnic upon payment of a non- refundable fee of Kshs 1,000 at the cash office during normal working days. Documents can also be downloaded from the government tenders portal http://tenders.go.ke  or from the Polytechnic’s website www.merunationalpolytechnic.ac.ke free of charge.

Interested bidders should note that only those meeting the criteria indicated below, supported by the relevant documents at submission will be considered for further evaluation:

  1. Company certificate of registration,
  2. Pin Certificate issued by Kenya Revenue Authority.
  3. Tax Compliance Certificate issued by Kenya Revenue Authority.
  4. Business Permit
  5. Dully filled Form of Tender and Business Questionnaire.
  6. AGPO Certificate from the National Treasury indicating the category you are in.
  7. Letters of recommendation from three (3) major clients
  8. Licenses from the relevant certifying/ regulatory bodies

FOR THE OPEN TENDERS:

  1. Provision of Bid security of tender amount (indicated in the tender document) valid for 120 days.
  2. Evidence of adequate equipment and key personnel for the specified type of work.
  3. Copy of Workman’s compensation and Group Personal Accident Insurance, Third party or Public Liability Insurance.
  4. Membership association certification to a professional body.
  5. Must attach audited accounts for the last two years.

FOR THE SECURITY SERVICES TENDER:

Letter of Compliance Issued by Ministry of Labour and showing compliance to Labour Requirements and in particular compliance to payment of minimum wage.
