SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF ASSORTED PERSONAL PROTECTIVE KITS (PPE KITS)

The Kenya Red Cross Society (KRCS] was established in 1965 by an Act of Parliament (Chapter 256 Laws of Kenya] as a voluntary aid Society, auxiliary to the national and county governments. Its vision is to be the most effective, most trusted and self-sustaining humanitarian organization in the country. KRCS was appointed by the Kenya Country Coordinating Mechanism (KCM] as the Civil Society Principal Recipient (PR] to manage resources under the Country’s Globs! Fund HIV Grant implemented through selected Sub Recipients (SRs].

Through the Grant, KRCS is implementing the COVID-19 Response Mechanism (C19RM], which aims to support the country’s response to COVID-19 and mitigate the impact on programs to fight HIV, TB, malaria and systems for health.

The Society therefore invites manufacturers, suppliers or potential suppliers for Re-usable masks, liquid handwashing soap, hand sanitizers and 3-ply medical masks (Surgical Masks} to support the programme. Complete tender documents in English detailing the requirements, qualification and specification of the Surgical Masks (Medical face masks] may be viewed and downloaded from the KRCS website at https://www.redcross.or.ke/Tenders

Those who download the documents and intend to submit a bid must register to the tenders’ email address indicated on the website for recording and for the purpose of receiving any clarification and/or addenda. Eligible bidders or their representatives are required to attend a mandatory pre-bidding session on Friday, 15th October, 2021 at 03.00 p.m. to familiarize with the scope of the tender. Bidders are required to register with their details to tenders@redcross.or.ke and thereafter, a zoom link will be shared.

Complete Tender Documents (Separate Technical and Financial Proposals], enclosed in one outer sealed envelope MUST be clearly marked by tender number and description.

And must be deposited in the Tender Box located at the Reception on the Ground Floor of the Kenya Red Cross Society Headquarters in South C, Red Cross Road, off Popo Road, Nairobi on or before 11.00 am, Wednesday 3^rd November, 2021. Late submissions will not be accepted. Technical Proposals will be opened at 12.00 noon on the same day in the presence of the bidders and/or their representatives who choose to attend the online ZOOM meeting.
