The Kenya Institute for Public Policy Research and Analysis (KIPPRA) is a public policy research Institute established to develop human and institutional capacities required for the formulation of medium and long-term strategic perspectives for development of Kenya. The Institute discharges this mandate by undertaking economic forecasting, policy analysis and research, and capacity building.
The Institute has an ERP in place (Microsoft Dynamics Nav) and is inviting Expression of Interest from eligible, qualified, experienced firms with the necessary skills to develop and implement Financial Reporting software in line with International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS). Firms will be expected to provide documentary evidence and accomplishments of experience in corporate organizations.
Firms MUST provide the following eligibility requirements to be used as evaluation criteria:
- Detailed company profile, physical address, and qualification of Lead consultant and names of 2 technical staff to undertake the assignment, including their qualifications with lead consultant to have a minimum of Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT or related field and 2 technical/support staff to have a minimum of Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT or related field (CVs and academic certificates of key managers and the support staff to be attached).
- Certificate of Registration or Incorporation,
- Relevant Business Permit from the region the business operates from
- Copy of Tax Compliance Certificate (to be verified online through KRA TCC checker).
- Audited accounts for the last 2 years (2019 and 2020).
- Firm Experience: The firm must have previous experience of a minimum of three (3) years in development and implementation of financial reporting software in compliance with IPSAS – attach evidence.
- Reference: The firm should have provided the service to at least three organizations preferably in public sector -To provide evidence and contact person(s) with their telephone contacts in each case.
A set of complete tender documents (1 Original and 2 copies- serialized/paginated) in a plain sealed envelope clearly indicating “Tender No. KP/FRS/05/2021-2022- Expression of Interest for development and implementation of Financial Reporting software (FRS)” should be deposited in the tender box located at 7th floor Bishops Garden Towers, Bishops Road, Nairobi.
Large documents that cannot fit in the tender box shall be registered at the Supply Chain Management office located on 7th floor Bishops Garden Towers. The tender documents should be addressed to:
