TANA WATER WORKS DEVELOPMENT AGENCY (TWWDA) TENDER NOVEMBER 2021 

INVITATION FOR BIDS [IFB] GOODS

(ONE-ENVELOPE BIDDING PROCESS)

1. The Government of Kenya has received financing from the Africa Development Bank hereinafter called the Bank toward the cost of the Kenya Towns Sustainable Water Supply and Sanitation program, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Supply and Delivery of Vehicle Mounted Sewer Flushing Unit.
2. Tana Water Works Development Agency on behalf of Northern Water Works Development Agency now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Supply and Delivery of Supply and Delivery of Vehicle Mounted Sewer Flushing Unit
3. Bidding will be conducted through the Open Competitive Bidding method as specified in the Bank’s Procure­ment Framework and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Framework.
4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Tana Water Works Development Agency Email: tanawaterboard@yahoo.com and inspect the bidding document during office hours from 0800 to 1700 hours at the address given below.
5. The bidding document in English may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of Kenya Shillings One Thousand only (KES.1,000). The method of payment will be by cash. The document will be collected from the Tana Water Works Development Agency Procurement Office.
6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 10.00 a.m. on Thursday 9^th  December, 2021. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the pres­ence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below
7. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of Kshs. 250,000 (Kenya shillings two hundred and fifty thousand only).
