ROADS 10,000 PROGRAMME: INVITATION TO TENDER FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF 10,000 KMS OF ROADS SUPPORTING PRIMARY GROWTH SECTORS
UPGRADING TO BITUMEN STANDARD AND PERFORMANCE BASED ROUTINE
MAINTENANCE OF ROADS UNDER 2021/2022
The Kenya Rural Roads Authority (KeRRA) is a state corporation established under the Kenya Roads Act 2007, with the responsibility of management, development, rehabilitation and maintenance of Rural Roads.
The Authority hereby invites bids from eligible construction companies on behalf of the Ministry of Transport, Infrastructure, and Housing and Urban Development to bid for the Upgrading to Bitumen Standard and Performance Based Routine Maintenance of Roads for the Financial Year FY 2021/2022 as shown below under the Low Volume Seal Roads Programme to be financed by the Government of Kenya through the Development Vote.

The scope of works involves Upgrading to Bitumen Standard and Performance Based Routine Maintenance of the roads as detailed in the bid documents.
The mandatory requirements for bidding are contained in the bidding documents.
Pre-Bid site visit for the tenders shall be mandatory and will be held on the date indicated above at 10:00 am starting from the respective KeRRA Regional Director’s office of each region.
Detailed information on the various tenders will be available for downloading FREE of CHARGE on the Authority’s Website www.kerra.go.ke from 10th January, 2022.
The sealed bids MUST be submitted to the address below located on Ground floor Barabara Plaza, Block B or deposited in the Tender Box on or before the dates indicated above for various tenders at 11.00 a.m. AH pages of the submitted documents to be Serialized Thereafter, opening of the bids will take place at the same venue starting from 11:00 am. Bids not received at the submission venue by the closing time will not be accepted for opening and will be rejected and returned unopened.
Bidders may obtain further information from the Procurement Unit of KeRRA at the address below during working hours . from 09:00 to 16:00 hrs local time Monday to Friday.
