TENDER FOR DESIGN, FABRICATION AND SUPPLY FOR MEDIUM-SIZED ROADSHOW TRUCKS

Background

The project “Promotion of Climate-Friendly Cooking: Kenya and Senegal” (GCF/EnDev), implemented by GIZ, Ministry of Energy and other implementing partners. The project objective is to accelerate the growth of the Improved Cookstoves (ICS) sector with an irreversible market transformation that will significantly increase the level of ICS production and sales, particularly in more remote and rural locations. The project supports the ICS market development, which is predominantly informal, focusing on supply and demand side. Demand side interventions comprise awareness creation and behavioural change campaigns to facilitate demand creation for ICS.

Call to bid

GIZ is seeking to procure for medium sized roadshow trucks (complete with the respective fabricated roadshow bodyworks, installed public address system and power supply) to be used for awareness creation and behavioural change campaigns earmarked under the project.

Bidders must be the authorised dealers of the trucks. However, they can associate or form a consortium with relevant body builders/fabricators and/or suppliers of the public address system in which case this must be disclosed in the application.

Clarification requests must be sent through the e-mail (KE_lnquiry@giz.de) by 28.01.2022 to be responded to via email by 01.02.2021.

If interested, please submit your complete proposal together with the requested documents in a SEALED ENVELOPE clearly marked TENDER NO: GIZ/91158605, addressed as follows and dropped to the tender box available in Kenya.

Failure to address correctly will lead to disqualification.
