PROPOSED ADDITIONS TO MULTIPURPOSE HALL AT PCEA UMOJA CHURCH
Tenders are hereby invited from eligible labour-based contractors to undertake modification of existing multipurpose hall for PCEA UMOJA CHURCH. Contractors wishing to bid must be registered by National Construction Authority (NCA) class 6 and above (Builders work)
Specialist sub-contractors on:-
- Plumbing and Drainage installation (mechanical works)
- Electrical installation
The subcontractors wishing to bid must be registered by the National Construction Authority (NCA) class 5 in their specialty field. The subcontractors must attach a current CV showing the following:
- Works done in the last 5 years including value of the works and the supervising consulting engineer involved.
- The key personnel qualified (minimum HND level) for the specialist field with 10 years’ experience in that field.
Bids without relevant CVs will be rejected.
Clerk of Works: Applicants should have at least 3 years’ experience in similar capacity
- Diploma in Building and construction or civil engineering
- Conversant with relevant building regulations/policies statutes safety & health requirements as stipulated by relevant licensing authorities

During normal working days Mon – Fri from 9.00am to 12.30 pm and 2.00pm – 4.30pm.
Complete set of tender documents will be available beginning 28/02/2022 to 4/03/2022 from the church administrator upon payment of a non-refundable fee of ksh 3,000 for Builders Work and ksh 2,000 for subcontractors in cash or bankers cheque payable to PCEA Umoja Church prior to collection of the tender documents. Duly completed tender documents accompanied by a tender security as specified in the tender document and sealed in an envelope clearly marked “Tender No. PCEA UMOJA 001/2022-2023 should be received by 4pm on 9th March 2022.
N/B: Applications for position of clerk of works should be received by same closing dates as indicated above via our email or delivery.
Tenders will be opened publicly on 10/03/2022 at 12.00 noon in the PCEA Umoja Hall.
Interested tenderers or their representative may attend the tender opening ceremony. Late bids shall be rejected.
