1.1 Interested Tenderers who meet the following Mandatory Requirements as a minimum supported by copies of requisite documents at submission will be considered for further evaluation:
- MUST provide copy of Business Registration/lncorporation Certificate
- MUST provide valid copy of tax compliance, PIN and VAT certificates
- MUST provide dully filled, signed and stamped Business Questionnaire and Tender Form by lawfully authorized person.
- MUST provide valid NCA certificate with current practicing license in building and construction as indicated above for each project.
- MUST provide valid Business Permit for Mombasa County Only.
- MUST provide power of attorney from commissioner of oaths
- MUST attach copy of receipt issued after purchase of hard copy of the tender document
- MUST serialize document in the format 1,2,3…. from the cover page to the last page
- MUST attach valid (last six months) CR 12 from the registrar of companies, and copies of National Identity cards for al directors
- MUST provide original bid bond as indicated above in form of bank guarantee from a reputable bank or insurance company recognized by PPRA which must remain valid for 150 days from the date of opening for OPEN tenders only
- MUST duly fill the tender securing declaration form for Women, Youth and PLWD category tenders and attach valid AGPC Certificate
- . MUST duly fill, sign and stamp certificate of independent tender determination, declaration that the tenderer is not debarred will not engage in any corrupt or fraudulent practice and commitment to the code of ethics
- Firms with ongoing projects shall not be allowed to tender. A firm is allowed to tender for one tender only. Any firm/tenderer that fails to comply with the requirements shall be disqualified.
1.2 Interested eligible candidates may obtain further information and inspect the tender documents at the offices of NG-CDF Jomv located within Mikindani Police Station Compound during normal working hours. A complete set of tender documents may b obtained by interested contractors upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Kenya Shillings one thousand only (Kshs. 1,000.0 either in cash or bankers’ cheque payable to the Fund Account Manager Jomvu.
1.3 Duly filled tender documents in an enclosed plain envelope marked with the tender number, tender name and labeled “NOT T BE OPENED BEFORE DATE 14* March 2022 AND TIME 10:00 A.M. may be deposited in the Tender Box situated at the first flo or addressed to NG-CDF JOMVU P. 0 BOX 90646-80100 MOMBASA so as to be received on or before date 14* March 2022 10.00 A.M.
1.4 NG-CDF JOMVU will not take any liability for lost documents on transit by courier.
Submitted documents/bids shall be opened immediately thereafter at the NG-CDF JOMVU Boardroom at 10.00 A.M in t presence of bidders or their representatives who may choose to attend.
1.5 Pre-site visit will be held on 7TH March 2022 at 10.00 A.M. on tender No. JOMVU NG-CDF/007/2021-2022, JOMVU N CDF/009/2021-2022 and JOMVU NG-CDF/012/2021-2022
