INVITATION TO TENDER
TENDER NO: IEBC/OT/22/037/2021-2022:
PROVISION OF THE 2022 GENERAL ELECTIONS CATERING SERVICES ON FRAMEWORK CONTRACT OF THREE YEARS.
The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) invites sealed tenders for Provision of the 2022 General Elections Catering Services on Framework Contract of Three Years.
1. Tendering will be conducted under open National competitive method using a standardized tender document. Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
2. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the tender document at the IEBC Respective County Offices during normal working hours, Monday to Friday, 8.00a.m. – 1:00 p.m. and 2.00p.m. – 4.30p.m.
3. A complete set of tender documents may be obtained by interested candidates by downloading free of charge from IEBC Website at www.iebc.or.ke or www.tenders.go.ke. Tenderers who download the tender documents through the website are advised to register with the Supply Chain Offices under the respective Counties or email their contacts through procurement@iebc.or.ke immediately in order to facilitate any further clarification or addendum.
4. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Security equivalent to Ksh. 20,000 valid for 210 days from date of opening the tender in the form of either: -Cash, a BANK Guarantee from a reputable bank, a guarantee by an insurance company registered and licensed by the Insurance Regulatory Authority listed by the PPRA or a guarantee issued by a financial institution approved and licensed by the Central Bank of Kenya. All payable to the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission.
5. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
6. Completed tenders must be delivered to the respective Counties addressed to the County Election Manager as guided TDS. Electronic Tenders will not be permitted.
7. Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter, in presence of tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the location specified in the invitation to tender.
8. Successful bidders will be required to fill the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form (Form no. 4) before contract signing.
9. Late tenders will be rejected.
