PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION OF AN INFRASTRUCTURE FOR HOUSING MOSQUITO NET MAKING MACHINE 2022 – CGOKTI

OFFICE OF THE GOVERNOR TENDER APRIL 2022 

TENDER NOTICE 
The County Government of Kitui, through the Office of the Governor wishes to initiate
tender for Construction Of An Infrastructure For Housing Mosquito Net Making
Machine.
Tenderers are therefore invited from eligible contractors registered with the National
Construction Authority (NCA) Category 5 and above for Building and construction
works as detailed below.

Interested bidders should note that only those meeting the criteria indicated below as
minimum, supported by the relevant documents at submission will be considered for
further evaluation: –
1. Provide copies of Company registration, PIN and current tax compliance certificate;
2. Be registered with the National Construction Authority (NCA) and must attach copies of
registration certificates as proof (NCA 5 and above for building and construction works)
and current license.

3. The Form of Tender and Confidential Business Questionnaire must be duly filled
signed and stamped by authorized person(s) with full names of directors/owner(s),
Names of proprietors (for sole proprietors) and names of partners (for partnerships),
copies of their national identity cards, copies of Business Registration Certificates.
4. Bidders are required to comply with section 74(1)(i) of Public Procurement and
Asset Disposal Act 2015, that makes it mandatory “requirement for
serialization/pagination of bid documents by the bidder” for each bid submitted.
6.Tenderers MUST duly fill, sign and stamp self-declaration form and duly endorsed
by commissioner of oaths Pursuant to section 62 of PPADA,2015.
Tenderers from below highlighted will be automatically disqualified.
(i) A tender from a tenderer whose directors/owners/shareholders are either
county public servants, state officers or their spouses and or their children;
ii) A tender from a tenderer who has been served with a default notice on the
County’s previous and on-going projects.
(ii) A Tenderer who makes attempts of any kind to influence the tender
outcome by Soliciting for information during tender evaluation,
communicating with tender evaluators, corrupting any Public
Officer and any other forms to win favours shall automatically be
disqualified and recommended for prosecution;
Eligible candidates may download the Tender Documents from the Kitui County
Website

(http://www.treasury.go.ke) and National Government Portal
(www.tenders.go.ke) using unique IFMIS negotiation number indicated above with
effect from Thursday,28th May, 2022.
Bids shall be valid for a period of 120 days after bid opening and submission of
Tenders must be accompanied by bid security as indicated above.
Complete tender documents MUST be submitted through the IFMIS supplier
portal:www.supplier.treasury.go.ke (http://www.supplier.treasury.go.ke) as per
the requirements contained in the document so as to be received on or before 9th
May, 2022 at 12.00 Noon.
Submission of original bid security from a reputable bank or other financial institution
registered with PPRA to Provide bid Securities must be delivered at the office of the

Head of Supply Chain Management Services, on first floor Annex Administration
Block Savani Road opposite Kitui Central CDF Offices.
