INVITATION TO TENDER
TENDER FOR PROVISION OF MEDICAL INSURANCE COVER FOR KENYA VETERINARY BOARD STAFF

The Kenya Veterinary Board invites sealed tenders for the provision of medical insurance cover for Kenya Veterinary Board staff for a period of one year.

Tenders will be conducted under open tender method using a standardized tender document. The tender is open to all insurance underwriters only.
Prices quoted should be net inclusive of all taxes and must be in Kenya Shillings and shall remain valid for
(120) days from the closing date of the tender.
All pages including any attachments should be paginated.
Two completed tender documents duly marked as “ORIGINAL” and “COPY” enclosed and sealed in separate e n v e l o p e s a n d inserted in one outer envelope should be submitted with the tender number clearly marked and addressed to;

P. O. Box 513-00605 UTHIRU.
The sealed envelopes should be deposited in the tender box situated at the KVB offices’ to be received on or before Wednesday 25th May, 2022, at 12.00PM. Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter on the closing date in the presence of the tenderer’s representatives who choose to attend the tender opening in the Board room.
All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Security of Kshs. 50,000.00 in form of a bank guarantee from a reputable bank or an insurance guarantee issued by an insurance firm approved by the PPRA located in Kenya.
Bidders who have downloaded the tender documents from the website shall immediately email their contact details (phone number, email, and company name) to: procurement@kenyavetboard.or.ke for records and communication of any tender clarifications and in case of any addenda.
Late Tenders, incomplete Tenders, Tenders not received, Tenders not opened at the Tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter in the presence of the firm’s representatives who choose to attend the opening at the Board Room, Kenya Veterinary Board.
