1. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method Nationalus ing a standardized tender document. Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
In case this tender is subject to a Reservation, specify the Group that is eligible to tender, i.e. Tendering is open to all.
Incase this tender is subject to Multiple contracts/lots, insert “Tenderers will be allowed to tender for one or more Lots”.
2. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents during office hours [. 0800 to 1700 hours] at the address given below.
3. Tender documents will be obtained electronically from the MACHAKOS COUNTY Website(s) www.machakosgovernment.go,ke and the Public Information Procurement portal (PPIP). Tender documents obtained electronically will be free of charge.
4. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website www.machakosgovernment.co.ke and the Public Information Procurement portal (PPIP).
5. Tenders shall be quoted be in Kenya Shillings and shall include all taxes. Tenders shall remain valid for (119) days from the date of opening of tenders.
6. All Tenders must be accompanied by a BID SECURITY IN THE FORM OF UNCONDITIONAL BANK GUARANTEE ISSUED BY BANKS REGULATED BY THE CENTRAL BANK OF KENYA of KSHS 300,000). Original bid security to be submitted to the office of Head, Supply Chain Management Office during working hours and before the closing Date and Time. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.

8. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before [N/A]. Electronic Tenders will be permitted. Completed tender documents must be submitted through the IFMIS Supplier portal, https://supplier.treasury.go.ke so as to be received not later than 26th MAY, 2022. Only original bid security from banks are to be delivered to the – Office of Head, Supply Chain Management during working hours and before the closing Date and Time.
9. Tenders will be opened immediately after closing date on IFMIS Portal www.supplier.treasury.go.ke. Bidders are advised to monitor the opening process through the same portalLate tenders will be rejected.
10. The system will automatically lock out at the time and date of tender closing as indicated in the IFMIS portal. Manual Tenders WILL NOT be permitted and Late tenders will be rejected.
11. Interested and eligible bidders having challenges uploading their tender documents in the Integrated Financial Management Information System (IFMIS) Supplier Portal may obtain assistance from the IFMIS helpdesk on
