INVITATION TO TENDER
DISPOSAL OF ABSOLETE ITEMS AT KENYATTA UNIVERSITY MAIN CAMPUS

1. The KENYATTA UNIVERSITY now invites sealed tenders from eligible candidates to purchase ABSOLETE ITEMS AT KENYATTA UNIVERSITY MAIN CAMPUS.
2. Interested eligible candidates may obtain further information at the address provided below. Items will be sold as they are, without any encumbrances.
3. Interested tenderers may inspect the goods to be sold during office hours [Monday to Friday 10.00am to 3.00pm] at the address : Kenyatta University P.O Box 43844-00100 Nairobi, Procurement Department Ground floor Room 9, Central Administration Complex
4. A complete set of tender documents may be obtained by interested candidates upon payment of non-refundable fees of Kshs.1,000 (One thousand shillings only) in cash or banker’s cheque payable to:

5. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website: http://www.ku.ac.ke/procurement and http://tenders.go.ke link to GOK tenders websites free of charge. Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their particulars immediately to procurement@ku.ac.ke to facilitate any further clarification or addendum
6. Tenderers will be required to pay in advance are fundable deposit as indicated in the Appendix to Instructions to tenderers.
7. Tenderers will be required to pay in advance a refundable deposit of ten percent (10%) of the reserve price (to be deposited in the account above) as indicated in the schedule of items and prices.
8. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before [Tuesday 28th June, 2022]. Electronic Tenders [will not] be permitted.
9. Prices quoted should be net, must be in Kenya Shillings and shall remain valid for the period to be determined by the Procuring Entity from the closing date of the tender.
10. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any deadline date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives who choose to attend at the address below.
11. Late tenders will be rejected.
