INVITATION TO TENDER 
REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL FOR THE PROVISION OF CUSTODIAL SERVICES FOR EGERTON UNIVERSITY RETIREMENT BENEFITS SCHEME

TENDER REF NO: EURBS-04/2022/23
1.1 Egerton University Retirement Benefits Scheme (EURBS) invites sealed tenders from
eligible candidates for CUSTODIAN of Egerton University Retirement Benefits
Scheme.
1.2 Eligible Tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Document
from The Trust Secretary: Egerton Retirement Benefits Scheme, located at
Egerton University Njoro, P.O. Box 536, Egerton and email address
pensions@egerton.ac.ke during normal working hours.
1.3 Completed tender documents are to be enclosed in plain sealed envelopes marked with
the specific tender name and reference number and deposited in the Tender Box
located at Egerton University Pension office, located at Egerton
University, Njoro Campus along Njoro-Mau Narok Road or to be addressed
to P.O. Box 536 – 20115 Egerton so as to be received on or before 12.00 local time
on 19th JULY 2022. Late bids will be rejected.
1.4 The technical proposal must include all the mandatory and technical requirements
submitted as one bid, while the financial proposal must include duly filled, signed, and
stamped the financial proposal submission form.
1.5 Professional Indemnity Must provide evidence of a valid professional indemnity of a
minimum of Kshs. 750 Million – from a local financial institution OR a guarantee from
an insurance company approved by the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority
(PPRA)
1.6 Prices quoted should be net inclusive of all taxes and must be in Kenya Shillings and
shall remain valid for 120 days from the closing date of the tender.
1.7 Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter, in the presence of candidates or their
representatives who choose to attend the opening meeting, on 19th JULY 2022 at the
venue specified in 1.3 above.
