INVITATION TO TENDER
PROVISION OF PRIVATE SECURITY GUARDING SERVICES CONTRACT PERIOD: TWO (2) YEARS
TENDER NUMBER: KSC/NOT/PSG/04/2022/23
1. Kenya Seed Company (KSC) Ltd invites sealed tenders from eligible Tenderers for Provision of
Private Security Guarding Services.
2. The Tender is Open National Tender and is open to all eligible and qualified interested Tenderers.
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents
during normal working office hours at Procurement Department, Kenya Seed Company Limited,
Mbegu Plaza, Kitale.
4. A complete set of tender document may be obtained by interested candidates upon payment of nonrefundable fees of Kes 1,000.00 in cash or Bankers cheque payable to Kenya Seed Company Limited
or be accessed from www.kenyaseed.com free of charge. Interested bidders who opt to download the
Tender Document shall be required to submit their contact details to procurement@kenyaseed.co.ke for
recording and any further clarification and addenda.
5. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Security in the sum of Kes 600,000.00 from a bank
guarantee from a recognized bank regulated by central Bank of Kenya.
6. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before 7th September 2022 at 11 A.M at
Kenya Seed Company (KSC) Limited, Mbegu plaza, Kitale (Electronic Tenders will not be permitted).
7. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any deadline date
and time specified later. Tenders will be opened in the presence of the Candidates or their representatives
who choose to attend at Kenya Seed Company (KSC) Limited, Mbegu Plaza, Kijana Wamalwa Road,
Kitale.
8. Late tenders will be rejected.
NOTE: The Government directive and protocols on Covid-19 will be strictly observed during
tender opening.
