INSURANCE REGULATORY AUTHORITY TENDER 2020 

INVITATION TO TENDER

The Insurance Regulatory Authority (IRA) is a government agency established under the Insurance Act (Amendment) 2006, Cap 487 of the Laws of Kenya to regulate, supervise and develop the Insurance Industry.

The Authority wishes to invite sealed bids from eligible firms to tender for the following services:-

1. 1RA/004/2020-2021 Expression of Interest for Provision of Consultancy Services to Conduct a Mid-Term Review of the Strategic Plan 2018-2022. 4th August, 2020 at 10:30 a.m.
2. 1RA/006/2020-2021 Provision of Web Hosting and Maintenance Services 11th August, 2020 at 11:00 a.m.
3. 1R A/009/2020-2021 Provision of Consultancy Services for Vulnerability and Penetration Testing Services 4th August, 2020 at 11:00 a.m.

Interested bidders may view and download the above tender documents from the IRA website www.ira.go.ke or Public Procurement Information Portal www.tenders.go.ke

Interested and eligible bidders are required to download the tender documents from the websites free of charge and immediately email their names and contact details to: procurement@ira.go.ke for purposes of any clarification, communication or addenda.

Complete tender documents should be prepared and saved as a PDF document with a PASSWORD PROTECTION and emailed to bids@ira.go.ke and copied to fchelimo@ira.go.ke. The subject of the e-mail will be as per the tender number and tender description indicated above and is addressed to:-

So as to be received on or before date and time indicated above.

Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter VIRTUALLY via zoom platform at IRA offices, Zep-Re Place at the times indicated above. The tenderers shall be required to provide the passwords of their documents before the time of tender opening via e-mail address bids@ira.go.ke and copied to fchelimo@ira.go.ke

IRA will convene the Bid opening via zoom video conferencing. The zoom meeting invitation will be created and placed on the IRA website where the participating bidders can access and participate in the Tender Opening. In the submission email for the tenders, Bidders are required to provide the Name, Email address and phone number of their representative who wish to take part in the Tender Opening for purposes of admission.
