FRAMEWORK CONTRACT FOR LEASING OF CAFETERIA & LIFT INSTALLATION AT NATIONAL COMMISSION FOR SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY AND INNOVATION

NATIONAL COMMISSION FOR SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY AND INNOVATION TENDER SEPTEMBER 2022 

NATIONAL COMPETETIVE BIDING (NCB)                   

1. The National Commission for Science, Technology and Innovation now invites bids from eligible bidders for the mentioned tenders as below:

2. A complete set of tender documents may be obtained by interested candidates on the National Commission
for Science Technology and Innovation website- www.nacosti.go.ke.
3. The date of Publication on the website for the tenders will be on 20th September, 2022 and closing/
opening date will be on 4th October, 2022 at 11.00 am.
4. Interested eligible candidates may obtain further information from the office of the Head, Supply Chain
Management Services, National Commission for Science, Technology and Innovation, NACOSTI
Building, Upper Kabete Road, 5th Ft loor Room 501 P.O Box 30623 – 00100, NAIROBI, during normal
working hours.
5. Completed tender documents shall be received in hard copy. One Original Tender document and One
Copy of the tender document.
6. Bids must be delivered to the office of the Deputy Director, Supply Chain Management Unit, NACOSTI
Building, Upper Kabete Road, 5th Floor Room 501 P.O Box 30623 – 00100, NAIROBI.
7. Bids shall be valid for a period of 120 days after bid opening date and the tender for Proposed Lift Installation
at National Commission for Science must be accompanied by a bid security of Kenya Shillings of
One Hundred and Ninety-Six Thousand (Kshs. 196,000), and the tender for Framework Contract for Leasing
of Cafeteria at National Commission for Science Technology and Innovation must be accompanied by
a bid security of Kenya Shillings One Hundred and Fifty Thousand (Kshs. 150,000). The bid security shall
be in the form of unconditional bank guarantee issued by banks regulated by the Central Bank of Kenya.

8. Site visit for the tender on Proposed Lift Installation will be on 26th September 2022 at 10.00 am whereas the site
visit for the tender on Framework Contract for Leasing of Cafeteria will also be on the same day ,26th September
2022 at 11.30 am at the National Commission for Science Technology and Innovation Headquarters.

9.Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend at 11.00 am
Local Time on 4th October,2022 at the Ground Floor Conference Room of National Commission for
Science Technology and Innovation.
