The Government of Kenya(GoK) has received financing from the International Fund for Agricultural Development
(IFAD) towards the cost of Kenya Livestock Commercialization Project(KeLCoP) and intends to apply part of the
financing to payments for contracts for goods, works and services.
The procurement program for the period, 1st July 2022 to 30th June 2023 will include the following procurements
under open competitive bidding procedures:

| Procurement of Motor Vehicles, 6 double cab pick-ups not exceeding 3000cc Engine capacity |
| Procurement of 50 Motorcycles , 175 cc engine capacity |
| Staff Medical Insurance |
| Development of Knowledge Management Products-Printing and supply of Banners, posters, fliers, newsletters and case studies, Project reports and documents, Branded t-shirts, caps, official uniforms, calendars |
| Procurement of assorted grass seeds and fertilizers for upscaling production of grass in Kimose,Naivasha, Nomotio and Mogotio Livestock Multiplication Centres |
| Procurement of consulting services to include: |
| Social Mobilization Service Provider to undertake PRA and social economic Assessment Study |
| Recruiting Service Provider to establish E-Finance Voucher system |
| Consultant to develop ICT4D for Market Livestock System |
| Recruitment of Consultant for Behavioral change communication campaign(BCCC) for animal health and disease |
| Service provider for e-extention System-Individual consultant |
| Consultant to undertake socio-economic and environmental baseline survey |
| Graduation Champion Individual consultant GALS training consultancy services |
| consultant to develop e-extention system |
Contracts for goods, works and services will be implemented according to the principles, rules and procedures set
out in the Kenya Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act 2015 and its attendant Regulations, current versions
of the IFAD Project Procurement Guidelines and IFAD Procurement Handbook.
Specific procurement notices for contracts to be tendered under the competitive bidding procedures will be
announced as they become available on selected portals, in local newspapers, and other media outlets as
appropriate.
