INVITATION TO TENDER
TENDER FOR PROVISION OF GROUP LIFE AND
LAST EXPENSE WITH WORK INJURY BENEFITS AND GROUP PERSONAL ACCIDENT
COVER FOR EMPLOYEES OF THE OFFICE OF THE AUDITOR GENERAL 
1. The Office of the Auditor-General invites sealed tenders for the provision of Insurance
Services for Group Life and Last Expense with Work Injury Benefits and Group Personal
Accident Cover for Employees of the Office of the Auditor-General.
2. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive tendering method using a standardized
tender document and is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers. Tenderers will be
allowed to tender for all the items.
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents
during office hours 08:00hrs to 17:00hrs at the address given below.
4. A complete set of tender documents may be obtained by interested bidders electronically from the
Website www.oagkenya.go.ke or www.tenders.go.ke . Tender documents obtained electronically
will be free of charge.
5. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website www.oagkenya.go.ke or
www.tenders.go.ke. Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their particulars
immediately to procurement@oagkenya.go.ke to facilitate any further clarification or addendum.
6. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Security of Kenya Shillings 500,000 from a reputable
Financial Institution recognized by the Central Bank of Kenya. The security should be valid for 30
days beyond the Tender Validity period.
7. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted including all
attachments in the format 1,2,3,4, ……..n. Where n is the last page number in the submitted tender.
8. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before 11.00AM 7 October 2022.
Electronic Tenders will not be permitted.
9. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any
deadline date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the
Tenderers’ designated representatives who choose to attend at the address below.
10. Late tenders will be rejected.
