INVITATION TO TENDER
TENDER FOR PROPOSED CONNECTIVITY OF LINE-5 (MOMBASA-NAIROBI) TO LINE-4 (NAIROBIELDORET)
TENDER NO. KPC/PU/OT/073/CORR/NBI/22-23
1. The Kenya pipeline company Limited invites sealed Tenders for Proposed
Connectivity of Line-5 (Mombasa-Nairobi) To Line-4 (Nairobi-Eldoret)
2. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method (National) using a
standardized tender document. Tendering is open to all qualified and interested
Tenderers.
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the
Tender Documents from the website: www.kpc.co.ke.
Tender documents may be obtained electronically from the Website(s)
www.kpc.co.ke or www.tenders.go.ke .Tender documents obtained electronically
will be free of charge.
4. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the above website
www.kpc.co.ke.
5. Tenders shall be quoted be in Kenya Shillings and shall include all taxes. Tenders
shall remain valid for One hundred and Eighty-Two days 182 days from the date of
opening of tenders.
6. All Tenders must be accompanied by a tender security of Kes. 500,000.00 from a
bank Registered in Kenya or from an Insurance Company Approved by PPRA valid
for 212 days from the date of tender opening.
7. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents
submitted.
8. Completed tenders must be submitted electronically in PDF format and uploaded on
the Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) Collaboration Folder on or before 13
th
October 2022 at 10.00am. Hard copies of tender documents will not be accepted.
9. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above
or any deadline date and times specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the
presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives who choose to attend at the
address below. Late tenders will be rejected.

A. Address for Submission of Tenders.
Completed tenders must be submitted electronically in PDF format and uploaded on the
Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) Collaboration Folder, Using the link https://eprocurement.kpc.co.ke/irj/portal.
Bidders must submit a Scanned copy of the tender security with their bid document.
The Original Tender Security must then be dropped in the tender box on ground floor,
Kenpipe plaza, Sekondi road, off Nanyuki road, Industrial Area, Nairobi on or before 13
th October 2022 at 10.00am.
