INVITATION TO TENDER
PROPOSED REHABILITATION AND UPGRADING OF KANGECHWA NDII 40KM INTERMEDIATE
ELECTRIC FENCE AT TSAVO WEST NATIONAL PARK
TENDER NO: KWS/ONT/B&F/31/2022-2022
1. The Kenya Wildlife Service invites sealed tenders for the proposed Rehabilitation and
upgrading of 40 Km Kangechwa Ndii Fence at Tsavo W. N.Park for a period of Twelve (12)
months
2. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method National using a standardized
tender document. Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender
Documents during office hours 0800 – 17000 hours at the address given below.
4. A complete set of tender documents may be obtained free of charge electronically from the website;
www.kws.go.ke or the Public Procurement Information Portal https://www.tenders.go.ke.
5. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website ( www.kws.go.ke or the
Public Procurement Information Portal https://www.tenders.go.ke). Tenderers who download the
tender document must forward their particulars immediately to hps@kws.go.ke, Kenya Wildlife
Service, P.O Box 40241-00100, Nairobi and Telephone number 0202379407 to facilitate any further
clarification or addendum.
6. Tenders shall be quoted in Kenya Shillings and shall include all taxes. Tenders shall remain
valid for one Hundred and Twenty Six (126) days from the date of opening of tenders.
7. All Tenders must be accompanied by a tender Security of Kshs. 800,000.00 (Kenya Shillings
Eight Hundred Thousand Only)
8. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
9. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before. 7th October, 2022 at or
before 12.00 Noon.. Electronic Tenders will not be permitted
10. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any
dead line date and times pecified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the
Tenderers’ designated representatives who choose to attend at the address below.
11. Late tenders will be rejected.
