RFP: GRANTS MANAGEMENT POLICIES REVIEW, IMPROVEMENT AND FINALISATION OF THE GRANTS MANAGEMENT POLICIES
The Africa Public Health Foundation was established in September 2019 to forge partnerships and mobilize resources for the Africa CDC, to support critical public health activities across the continent. The Africa CDC plays a protector role to APHF.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we received substantial grants from various donors to support the Africa CDC response. As such, the Grants Management team developed grant management policies to support these grants. These policies are more specifically designed to meet COVID-19 response and specific funder requirements.
APHF, as a grants making organisation, has developed organisation wide grants management policies that can support its mandate in the continent. APHF is now in the process of finalising the grants manual with a grants management system and policies that are robust and effective to receive and manage grants on behalf of Africa CDC.
