INVITATION TO TENDER
PROVISION OF SECURITY SERVICES
TENDER NO. KEWI/TEN/002/2022/2023
1. The Kenya Water Institute (KEWI) invites tenders from eligible Candidates for the Provision
of Security Services for Kenya Water Institute Located at South C Nairobi.
2. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method using a standardized tender document.
Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents
during office hours 8:00 am to 5:00pm at KEWI offices, Nairobi South C along Ole Shapara Avenue
South C, at the procurement office during normal office working hours. Candidates are advised to
familiarize themselves with the site at KEWI Campuses as per the schedule of requirements before
quoting.
4. A complete set of tender documents may be purchased or obtained by interested tenders upon payment
of a non-refundable fees of KShs. 1,000.00 in cash or bankers cheque payable to Kenya Water
Institute
Alternatively, tender documents may be obtained free of charge by downloading from KEWI website:
www.kewi.or.ke or tenders.go.ke. Documents downloaded are free of charge and bidders are advised
to register their bid documents at the procurement office or via email at procurement@kewi.or.ke for
records or any further tender clarification.
5. All Tenders must be accompanied by a tender Security of Kshs. 100,000.00
6. The Tenderer shall book bind and chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
7. Complete Tender documents must be delivered in plain sealed envelopes clearly marked with Tender No.
and name addressed to:

P.O. Box 60013-00200 Nairobi,
and deposited in the tender box situated in Library block or Directors office for huge tenders, so as to reach
him on or before 3rd November, 2022 at 10.30 am
9. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any deadline
date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’
designated representatives who choose to attend at KEWI Conference room, At KEWI main campus
South C.
10. Late tenders will be rejected.
