INVITATION TO TENDER
TENDERS WILL BE AWARDED ON BASIS OF FRAMEWORK AGREMENT
TENDER NO. NCPWD/FA/AD/002/2022-2023
1. PROCURING ENTITY: NATIONAL COUNCIL FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES.
CONTRACT NAME AND DESCRIPTION: FRAMEWORK AGREEMENT FOR THE
SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF ASSISTIVE DEVICES-VISUAL CATEGORY
2. The NATIONAL COUNCIL FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES invites sealed tenders
for the supply of ASSISTIVE DEVICES FOR PERSONS WITH VISUAL DISABILITIES
FOR A PERIOD OF ONE YEAR RENEWABLE FOR A MAXIMUM PERIOD OF
THREE YEARS UPON SATISFACTORY PERFORMANCE.
3. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method (NATIONAL) using a standardized
tender document. Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
4. “Tendering is OPEN TO ALL.
5. Tenderers will be allowed to tender for one or more lots.
6. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents
during office hours 0800HRS TO 1700 HRS at the address given below.
7. A complete set of tender documents may obtained electronically from the Website
www.tenders.go.ke. Or www.ncpwd.go.ke Tender documents obtained electronically will be free of
charge.
8. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website www.tenders.go.ke.
Or www.ncpwd.go.ke Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their particulars
immediately to procurement@ncpwd.go.ke to facilitate any further clarification or addendum
9. All Tenders must be accompanied by a “TENDER-SECURING DECLARATION FORM.
10. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
11. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before 09th January,2023 AT
1030HRS.
12. Electronic Tenders WILL NOT BE permitted.
13. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any dead
line date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’
designated representatives who choose to attend at the address below.
14. Late tenders will be rejected.
