INVITATION TO TENDER 
TENDER FOR PROVISION OF GENERAL INSURANCE COVER PERIOD: 2022-2023 FINANCIAL YEAR 

TENDER NO: ADC/4/2022/2023 
1. The Agricultural Development Corporation invites sealed tenders from eligible
candidates for the Provision of General Insurance Cover
2. Tendering will be conducted under restricted competitive method using a
standardized tender document and is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the
Tender Documents at the Procurement Office, Agricultural Development
Corporation, P.O.Box 47101-00100-Located on 9th floor Development house
during normal working hours .
4. A complete set of tender documents may be obtained by interested tenders upon
payment of a non- refundable fee of Kshs.1000 in cash or banker’s cheque and
payable to ADC cashier on 9th floor Development house or downloaded from the
website www.tenders.go.ke or ADC website www.adc.or.ke free of charge
5. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the www.adc.or.ke.
Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their particulars
immediately to adcprocurement2018@gmail.com, 2250695/185, P.O. BOX 47101-
00100 to facilitate any further clarification or an addendum.
6. All Tenders will be required to deposit a tender Security of Kshs 100,000.00 of the
total quoted price inform of banker’s cheque or a guarantee Issued to insurance
company registered or licensed by Insurance Regulatory Authority listed by the
Authority or a financial Institution approved and Licensed by the Central Bank Of
Kenya and valid for 126 days from the tender opening date.
7. Complete tender documents are to be enclosed in a plain sealed envelope marked with the
tender number and name and be deposited in the Tender box at 10
th Floor Development
House or be addressed to:

so as to be received on or before 20th January 2023 at 2.30 p.m.
8. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date in the presence of the
candidates representatives who choose to attend at our offices 10th floor,
Development house, Moi Avenue.
9. Late tenders will be rejected.
