INVITATION TO TENDER
PROVISION OF CLEANING, SANITARY BINS, FUMIGATION, GARDENING, GARBAGE
COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL SERVICES FOR THE NAIROBI COMMUTER STATIONS,
WORKSHOPS AND YARDS, COMMUTER TRAINS & DMUs, KISUMU AND NANYUKI SAFARI
PASSENGER TRAINS- SPECIAL GROUP (WOMEN)
TENDER (ITT) No. KR/SCM/058/2022-2023
1. The Kenya Railways invites sealed Tenders for Provision of Cleaning, Sanitary Bins,
Fumigation, Gardening, Garbage Collection and Disposal Services for the Nairobi
Commuter Stations, Workshops and Yards, Commuter Trains & Dmus, Kisumu and
Nanyuki Safari Passenger Trains
2. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive tendering method using a
standardized tender document and is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers
3. Tendering is open to all women Enterprises registered with National Treasury
under AGPO. Attach a valid Special Group Certificate – Women.
4. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the
Tender Documents during office hours from 0900 hrs to 1600 hrs at the address
given below.
5. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website
www.krc.co.ke, www.ppip.go.ke. Tenderers who download the tender document
must forward their particulars immediately to procure@krc.co.ke to facilitate any
further clarification or addendum.
6. A pre-bid conference shall NOT be held
7. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the Tender documents
submitted.
8. A Bank Guarantee shall not be required bidders to fill the Tender securing
declaration Form.
9. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before 15th
February 2023 at 1400hr. Electronic Tenders shall not be permitted.
10. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above
or any deadline date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the
presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives who choose to attend at the
address below.
11. Late tenders will be rejected.
