INVITATION TO TENDER
Ministry of State for Public Service, Gender, and Affirmative Action (HUDUMA KENYA SECRETARIAT)
PROVISION OF GROUP LIFE AND GROUP PERSONAL ACCIDENT INSURANCE FOR HUDUMA KENYA SECRETARIAT STAFF
TENDER NO: SDPS/HKS/ONT/03/2022-2023
1. The Ministry invites sealed tenders for Provision of Group life and Group Personal Accident
insurance for Huduma Kenya Secretariat Staff
2. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive tendering method using a standardized
tender document and is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers. Tenderers will be allowed
to tender for one or more items.
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender
Documents during office hours 8:00AM to 4:00PM at the address given below. Tender
documents may be viewed and/or downloaded from the website
tenders@hudumakenya.go.ke
4. A complete set of tender documents may be obtained by interested bidders from our website or
the PPIP. Tender documents obtained electronically will be free of charge.
5. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website www.huduma
kenya.go.ke. Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their particulars
immediately to tenders@hudumakenya.go.ke to facilitate any further clarification or addendum.
6. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Security in form of a bank guarantee issued by a
reputable bank or a Financial Institution approved by the Central Bank of Kenya (CBK), in the
amount Kshs 50,000.00. The tender security should be valid for 156 days from date of tender
opening.
7. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents including
attachments submitted (Format 1, 2, 3, 4…n, where n is the last page number) and the tender
document shall be free from mutilation.
8. Completed tenders must be delivered to the tender box situated at 15th floor, Lonrho House,
Standard Street, P.O. Box 47716-00100 Nairobi, on or before TUESDAY 7TH, FEBRUARY,
2023, at 11:00AM.
9. Electronic Tenders will not be permitted.
10. Prices quoted shall be net inclusive of all taxes and delivery must be in Kenya Shillings and shall
remain valid for 126 days from the closing date of the tender.
11. Late tenders will be rejected.
12. The tender shall be submitted in two hard copies i.e. one “ORIGINAL TENDER” and a COPY
of the bid document. Both copies put in an outer envelope marked with tender number and name
and marked “DO NOT OPEN BEFORE: Tuesday, 7TH February 2023, at 11.00 a.m. and shall be

13. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any deadline
date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’
designated representatives who choose to attend at the address referred to above.
