INVITATION TO TENDER 

Narok Water and Sewerage Services Co. Ltd (NARWASSCO] has received funds from the Water Sector Trust Fund under rural investment programme for J6P. The origin of the WSTF funding is from Governments of Kenya (County Government of Narok), Finland and Sweden. NARWASSCO intends to use part of the funds to undertake the following projects and hereby invite bids from eligible firms to undertake the following works. The objective of the projects will be to increase access to water in the rural areas.

·         Preliminaries and General;

·         Construction of pump house, Equipping of 1No. Borehole and fencing;

·         Supply and installation of 108M3 Steel Elevated Tank;

·         Construction of 1.24km Rising Main;

·         Construction of 1 No.]Q0m3 Masonry tank;

·         Construction of 6.04km Gravity and 3.782km Distribution mains.

28th AUGUST 2020 at 9.00 am. Potential Tenderers to Meet at NARWASSCO Offices (Narok County, next to County Commissioners office] for onward Travel to Site. All Bidders to cater for own transport.

This tender shall be conducted through the Open National Tender [ONT] procedure specified in the Government of Kenya (GOK], The Public Procurement and Asset Disposals Act, 2015.

Interested eligible bidders can obtain tender documents with detailed specifications by downloading tender documents and the accompanying attachments free of charge from the County Government of Narok website http://www.narok.go.ke/. Bidders are also required to fill in the BIDDERS REGISTRATION FORM (in the tender document), scan in PDF and email to narokwater@yahoo.com for registration purposes.

MANDATORY PRE-TENDER SITE VISIT: There will be a mandatory pre-tender site visit for all interested bidders on the dates specified on the table above. Bidders to meet at the designated points and time as specified in this advert.

PLACE OF TENDER SUBMISSION; the sealed tender document should be lodged in the TENDER BOX marked ” J6 PROGRAMME” at the company offices located at Narok County, next to County Commissioners office.

The Closing Date for Tender Submission is 11th September 2020 at 12.00 noon,

Tenders will be opened in Public immediately thereafter at the Company’s Boardroom in the presence of interested tenderers or their representatives who choose to attend.

Late bids, portion of bids, electronic bids, bids not received, bids not opened and not readout in public at bid opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of circumstances. Please note that canvassing will lead to automatic disqualification.
