INVITATION FOR PREQUALIFICATION/REGISTRATION OF SUPPLIERS
TENDER NUMBER: NCIC/OT/PREQ/001/2023

1.0 The National Cohesion & Integration Commission (NCIC) is a statutory body established under the National Cohesion and Integration Act (Act
No.12 of 2008). The Commission’s mandate is to facilitate and promote equality of opportunity, good relations, harmony and peaceful coexistence
between persons of different ethnic and racial communities of Kenya and to advise the Government on all aspects thereof. In order to
carry out this mandate, the Commission intends to prequalify suppliers for the supply of goods, services and works for a PERIOD OF TWO YEARS.
The Commission invites sealed applications from eligible candidates for purposes of prequalifying and registration of suppliers for goods, works
and services 

Note:
i) Special Groups include Youth, Women and Persons living with Disability who have been duly registered with the National Treasury
(Directorate of Procurement) for continuous registration by Procuring entities. They MUST show proof of registration by providing a
copy of valid certificate of registration. The registration list shall be updated after every six months.
ii) Open to any bidder who meets the evaluation criteria for Prequalification. The Prequalification shall be updated every two
years.
2.0 Eligible candidates may obtain detailed prequalification document from NCIC’s website: www.cohesion.or.ke or Public Procurement Information
Portal (PPIP) website: www.tenders.go.ke
3.0 Youth, Women and People with disabilities (AGPO) are encouraged to apply for the Special group categories.
4.0 Applications for prequalification/Registration of Suppliers must be enclosed in plain sealed envelope marked “PRE- QUALIFICATION OF
SUPPLIERS FOR GOODS, WORKS AND SERVICES (category number) – DO NOT OPEN BEFORE THURSDAY, 13th APRIL 2023 AT 12.00.PM
and to be posted to:-

to reach the office on or before THURSDAY, 13th APRIL 2023 AT 12.00.PM
5.0 The Pre-Qualification Category No. applied for MUST be conspicuously indicated on the envelope.
6.0 The applications shall be opened immediately thereafter, at the NCIC’s reception on18th Floor in the presence of bidders or their representatives
who choose to attend.
The commission reserves the right to reject any tender application in whole or part.
Canvassing will lead to automatic disqualification.
