INVITATION TO TENDER
PROPOSED SUPPLY, INSTALLATION, TESTING AND COMMISSIONING OF MEDICAL GASES PLANTS AND PIPELINE SYSTEM AT
KING FAHAD COUNTY REFERRAL HOSPITAL IN LAMU COUNTY
1. The County Government of Lamu invites sealed tenders for the PROPOSED SUPPLY, INSTALLATION,
TESTINGAND COMMISSIONING OF MEDICAL GASES PLANTS AND PIPELINE SYSTEM AT KING FAHAD COUNTY
REFERRAL HOSPITALIN LAMU COUNTY
2. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method national using a standardized tender
document. Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents
during office hours 0900 to 1500 hours at the address given below.
4. A complete set of tender documents may be purchased or obtained by interested tenders upon payment
of a non- refundable fees of Ksh. 1,000.00/= in cash or Banker’s Cheque and payable to the address given
below. Tender documents may be obtained electronically from the Websites www.lamu.go.ke and
www.tenders.go.ke. Tender documents obtained electronically will be free of charge.
5. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded free from the website www.lamu.go.ke and
www.tenders.go.ke. Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their particulars
immediately to procurement@lamu.go.ke to facilitate any further clarification or addendum.
6. Tenders shall be quoted be in Kenya Shillings and shall include all taxes. Tenders shall remain valid for
120 days from the date of opening of tenders.
7. Tenderers shall furnish, as part of their application a tender security in the amount of Kshs.
900,000.00 and as per the instructions to tenderers.
8. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
9. Completed tenders must be submitted on the IFMIS SYSTEM on or before 31st May, 2023
10. MANUAL SUBMISSION of Tenders WILL NOT BE PERMITTED.
11. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any dead line
date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated
representatives who choose to attend at the address below.
12. Late tenders will be rejected. The IFMIS System will automatically lock out at the time and date of
tender closing.

The ORIGINAL Tender Security and ORIGINAL Form of Tender to be submitted MANUALY and
dropped at the Tender Box Located in County Government of Lamu Headquarters in Mokowe, Ground
Floor on or before the closing date and Bidders MUST attach Scanned copies of the Tender
Security and Form of Tender together with the other documents in IFMIS as stated in each bid
document.
