LETTER OF INVITATION

TENDER FOR PROVISION OF BUSINESS SUPPORT, CONSULTANCY AND ADVISORY SERVICES FOR THE YEAR 2023-2024.
Dear interested bidders,
1. The Kenya Investment Authority (KenInvest) has set aside funds in its budget or has received
financing fromGovernment of Kenya towards the cost of the subject services.
2. The Kenya Investment Authority now invites proposals for provision of business support,
consultancy and advisory services for the year 2023-2024
3. More details on the Services are provided in Section 5 Terms of Reference.
4. If a Consultant is a Joint Venture (JV), the full name of the JV shall be used and all members, starting with
the name of the lead member. Where sub-consultants have been proposed, they shall be named. The
maximum number of JV members shall be specified in the DS (6.2)
5. It is not permissible to transfer this RFP to any other firm.
6. A firm will be selected under Quality andCostBased (QCBS) method and in a format as described
inthis RFP, in accordance with the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act 2015, a copy of which
is found at the following website: www.ppra.go.ke.
7. The RFP includes the following documents:
− Section 1: Letter of Request for Proposals
− Section2: Instructions to Consultants and Data Sheet
− Section 3: Technical Proposal Standard Forms
− Section 4: Financial Proposal Standard Forms
− Section 5: Terms of Reference
− Section 6: Standard Forms of Contract (Lump-Sum)
8. Please inform us by 11th July 2023 1700Hrs in writing by E-mail procurement@invest.go.ke and
copied to info@invest.go.ke
a) That you have received this Request for Proposals; and
b) Whether you intend to submit a proposal alone or intend to enhance your experience by
requesting permission to associate with other firm(s) in accordance with Instructions to
Consultantssection 2(a) 14.1.1.
9. The tender shall be submitted on or before Wednesday 26th July 2023 at 1100Hrs.
Late bids shall be rejected.
10. Tenders will be opened at KenInvest immediately thereafter at the Conference board Room, 15th
Floor, UAP Old Mutual Tower building. KenInvest shall, on request, provide a copy of the tender
opening register to a person submitting a tender. Tenderers shall therefore be required to submit
their email address to procurement@invest.go.ke to enable them to get any clarifications if
available.

11. Any additional information, addendums, or clarifications in respect to this tender will be
available in our KenInvest website https://www.tenders.go.ke portal. You are advised to regularly
check the website during the bidding period.
12. Late tenders will be rejected.
