Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the select
County’s Tender from respective website below
1. Vihiga County Government https://vihiga.go.ke/ and also at the PPIP portal
www.tenders.go.ke.
A complete set of tender documents may be obtained by interested tenderers
electronically from the aforementioned websites at no cost. Tenders shall be quoted in
Kenya Shillings and shall include all taxes. Tenders shall remain valid for 180 days from
the date of opening .
Completed tender document for the select county should be enclosed in plain sealed
envelopes marked with tender reference number and be deposited in the tender box in
the respective county physical addresses below on or before Thursday 20th July, 2023, at
11:00 A.M.

Kindly note: Electronic Tender Shall not be permitted and late tenders will be rejected.
Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above.
Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated
representatives who choose to attend at the select Counties addresses specified in the
bid document.
Note:
1. All Tenders must be accompanied by a“ tender Security” of Kshs. 9,000, 000.00 in
any of the following forms; a bank guarantee; a guarantee by an insurance
company registered and licensed by the Insurance Regulatory Authority listed by
the Authority
2. There shall be a pre-bid briefing in each respective county at an address, date and
time specified in the Bid document
3. Each select County shall be the procuring and contracting entity.
