INVITATION TO TENDER (ITT)
SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF MOTOR VEHICLE FUEL, LUBRICANT AND LPG FRAMEWORK AGREEMENT
TENDER NO. KR/SCM/010/2023-2024
1. The Kenya Railways invites sealed Tenders for supply and delivery of locomotive lubricants)
Framework Contract.
2. The Kenya Railways invites sealed Supply and Delivery of Motor Vehicle Fuel, Lubricant
And LPG Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method (National)
using a standardized tender document. Tendering is open to all qualified and interested
Tenderers.
3. Tenderers will be allowed to tender for one or more lots (Not applicable).
4. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the
Tender Documents during office hours from 0900 hrs to 1600 hrs at the address given
below.
5. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website
www.krc.co.ke , www.ppip.go.ke . Tenderers who download the tender document must
forward their particulars immediately to procure@krc.co.ke to facilitate any further
clarification or addendum.
6. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Bank Guarantee of Kenya Shillings Five Million
Only (Kshs.5,000,000.00) from a reputable Financial Institution or an Insurance Firm
approved by the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority.
7. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents
submitted.
8. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before Tuesday 22,
August 2023 at 10:00am. Electronic Tenders shall not be permitted.
9. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above
or any dead line date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the
presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives who choose to attend at the
address below.
10. Late tenders will be rejected.
