FOR ITT: KEN/GE/2303 – GARRISON ENGINEERS DEPARTMENT BUILDING EXTENSION WORKS, NYATI BARRACKS
The UK MOD hereby invites Tenderers to submit an Expression of Interest [EOI] in receiving an Invitation to Tender [ITT] for construction works to the Garrison Engineers Department, Nyati barracks. The Authority requires a suitably qualified and experienced contractor for the extension works in accordance with the latest UK Building Regulations, BS 7671: 2018 – Requirements for Electrical Installations & City & Guilds 2391 inspection and testing.
The Estimated Contract Value is between £60K – £85K.

Expressions of Interest should be submitted formally by e-mail to the Works Contract Officer [WCO] at ajibola.laogun307@mod.gov.uk by 1000hrs EAT, 16 Aug 23. In addition, all interested parties are to register on the Defence Sourcing Portal [DSP] at the following website www.contracts.mod.uk.
A Pre-Qualifying Questionnaire (PQQ) will be issued and used to down select the number of potential tenderers to 5, The potential tenderers will be required to meet a minimum score specified in the PQQ.
Tender Issue and Bidders Conference
Selected tenderers will be issued with ITT documentation on 8 Sep 23 and will be invited to attend a Bidder’s Conference on 12 Sep 23 [1000 Hrs) at Nyati Barracks. This is the sole opportunity for tenderers to visit the site. The conference is limited to a maximum of 2 personnel from each company.
Evaluation Criteria
The evaluation criteria for determining the Commercial Solution will be Most Economically Advantageous Tender [MEAT] using the Value for Money Index [VFM Index].
Potential Bidders will be required to meet the minimum technical and commercial requirements as stated in the ITT.
