INVITATION TO TENDER
SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF HASS AVOCADO FRUIT TREE SEEDLINGS WITHIN ELGEYO MARAKWET AND UASIN GISHU COUNTIES

TENDER NO. NETFUND/T/001/2023-2024 
3. The NATIONAL ENVIRONMENT TRUST FUND invites sealed tenders for the Supply
and delivery of Hass avocado fruit tree seedlings within Elgeyo Marakwet and Uasin Gishu
Counties
4. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method
(National/International) (National – Restricted tender) using a standardized tender
document. Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers in Elgeyo
Marakwet and Uasin Gishu Counties
5. In case tender is subject to Multiple contracts/lots, insert “Tenderers will be allowed
to tender for one or more lots”. NOT APPLICABLE
6. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the
Tender Documents during office hours Monday to Friday between 0900 to 1500 hours
(East Africa Time) at the address given below.

7. A complete set of tender documents may be purchased or obtained by interested
tenders upon payment of a non- refundable fees of (Ksh. 1,000) in cash or Banker’s
Cheque and payable to the address given below. Tender documents may be
obtained electronically from the NETFUND website, www.netfund.go.ke or the PPIP
portal, www.tenders.go.ke. Tender documents obtained electronically will be free of
charge. Tenderers downloading documents from a designated website shall advise the
Procurement Entity that they have downloaded the tender documents, giving full contact
addresses of the tenderer as below;
i. Name of the tenderer
ii. Name and designation of the contact person
iii. Email address
iv. Telephone number
v. Postal address
8. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website
NETFUND website, www.netfund.go.ke or the PPIP portal, www.tenders.go.ke.
Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their particulars
immediately to tenders@netfund.go.ke and copy to netfundtenders@gmail.com to
facilitate any further clarification or addendum.
9. All Tenders must be accompanied by a TENDER SECURITY of Kenya Shillings Two
Hundred and Fifty Thousand Only (Kshs. 250,000.00) in form of a Bank guarantee from
a bank licensed and operating in Kenya or a guarantee from an Insurance Company
registered with the Insurance Regulatory Authority (IRA) and listed by the Public
Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA), valid for thirty (30) days beyond the validity
of the tender (198 days). The tender security shall be in the original form (hardcopy) or
digital (QR code or online).

10. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents
submitted.
11. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before FRIDAY
AUGUST 29TH , 2023 AT 1100 HOURS (EAST AFRICAN TIME).

Note: Tenders that do not fit in the tender box shall be deposited at the Reception Desk and

12. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified
above or any dead line date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly
opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives who choose
to attend at the address below.
