AMMUNITION STORAGE FACILITY, NYATI BARRACKS
The UK MOD hereby invites Tenderers to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) in receiving an. Invitation to Tender [ITT) for construction works for a first line Ammunition Storage Facility, Nyati barracks. The Authority requires a suitably qualified and experienced contractor for the works in accordance with the Defence Manual of Security and Resilience, Safety Standards for Electrical Installations and Equipment in Explosives Facilities and Buildings Associated with Military Explosives Regulations.
The Estimated Contract Value is between £75K – £100K.
EXPRESSION OF INTEREST [EOI]
Expressions of Interest should be submitted formally by e-mail to the Works Contract Officer [WCO) at bobin.gurung233@mod.gov.uk by 1000hrs, 30 Aug 23. In addition, all interested parties are to register on the Defence Sourcing Portal [DSP] at the following website www.contracts.mod.uk.
A Pre-Qualifying Questionnaire [PQQ) will be issued and used to down select the number of potential tenderers to 5. The potential tenderers will be required to meet a minimum score specified in the PQQ.
Tender Issue and Bidders Conference
Selected tenderers will be issued with ITT documentation on 22 Sep 23 and will be invited to attend a Bidder’s Conference on 26 Sep 23 (1000 Firs) at Nyati Barracks. This is the sole opportunity for tenderers to visit the site.
The conference is limited to a maximum of 2 personnel from each company.
Evaluation Criteria
The evaluation criteria for determining the Commercial Solution will be Most Economically Advantageous Tender [MEAT) using the Value for Money Index [VFM Index).
Potential Bidders will be required to meet the minimum technical and commercial requirements as stated in the ITT.
