COUNTY GOVERNMENT OF BUNGOMA TENDER AUGUST 2023 

DEPARTMENT OF LANDS, URBAN/PHYSICAL PLANNING, HOUSING AND MUNICIPALITIES.

Request for Expression of Interest from Individuals], Institution^], Agents[s] with Land in Bungoma Municipality willing to sell to the County Government of Bungoma (Department of Lands, Urban/Physical Planning, Housing and Municipalities-Bungoma Municipality] for the FY2023/2024 per specified requirements to Express their Interest in writing (sealed envelope] within 7 Days from the date of this Notice to the Municipal Manager’s Office located in Public Works Compound Bungoma during working hours (8:00am to 5:00pm)

1. Land for a trailer park

• The Land should be 5 acres and above.
• The Land should be along Webuye-Malaba Highway (preferably Ndengelwa and Buema urban centres/areas].
• Those with Land not along the mentioned road but less than a kilometer from the highway with better access area are also encouraged to apply.
• The shape of the Land should be regular in shape.
• The Land should have ownership documents.

2. Land for expansion of Chepkube Market In Bungoma Municipality

• The Land should be half an acre and above.
• The Land should be within the environs of the existing Chepkube Market.
• The shape of the Land should be regular in shape.
• The Land should have ownership documents.

General Requirements

1. Expression of Interest letter, stating the size of the Land to be sold plus the price per acre
2. Current Official Search from the County Land Registry (done in the last one Month]
3. Copy of the Title Deed(s] in the name of the one Expressing the Interest or written consent if the application is done on behalf of the owner(s]
4. Copy of National Identity Card of the Owner(s] and applicant, if not the Owner
5. Copy of KRA PIN of the Owner[s] and applicant, if not the Owner.
6. Congruence letter by the Spouse of the Owner(s] of the Land to be sold
7. Consolidated/Joint application shall be accepted.
