1. The County Government of Kiambu-Department of Roads, Transport, Public Works, and Utilities
invitestendersforthe PROCUREMENT OF SMALL WORKS FOR THE PROPOSED UPGRADING OF MAKONGENI
BUSPARK TO BITUMINOUS STANDARDS IN THIKA SUB COUNTY. FY 2023/2024 as per this tender document
2. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method (National) using a standardized tender document.
Tenderingis open to all qualified and interestedTenderers.
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents during
office hours[ 0900 to 1600 hours] atthe address given below.
4. Tender documents may be obtained electronically from the Website at www.tenders.go.ke.Tender
documents obtained electronicallywill be free of charge.
5. Tenderers who download the tender document may forward their particulars immediately to
(procurement@kiambu.go.ke)to facilitate any further clarification or addendum.
6. Tenderers are invited for a pre-bid site visit meeting IS NOT APPLICABLE as indicated in the tender document
7. Tendersshall be quoted be in Kenya Shillings and shall include all taxes. Tendersshall remain valid for (91) days
fromthe date of openingoftenders.
8. All Tenders must be accompanied by a tender Security of (KES. 500,000.00] as prescribed in the tender
document
9. TheTenderershall chronologically serialize all pages ofthe tender documentssubmitted indicating the total page
numbers at the last page of the bid document.
10. Completed tenders must be submitted electronically through www.supplier.treasury.go.ke and to be
received on or before [8th September 2023 at 10:00am].
11. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any deadline date and
time specified later.
12. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of theTenderers’ designated representatives who choose to attend
at the address below.
13. Late tenderswill be rejected.
