Procurement of Plant – Design, Supply, and Installation

Kenya Electricity Transmission Company Ltd. (KETRACO) has received funds from Agence Française de Développement
(“AFD”) toward the cost of the 400/132kV Makindu Substation, and it intends to apply part of the funds
to payments under the contract for Procurement of Plant – Design, Supply, and Installation of the pilot digital
400/132kV Makindu Substation. The Employer intends to prequalify firms for the Design, Supply, and Installation
of the pilot digital 400/132kV Makindu Substation. It is expected that invitations for bid will be made in December
2023.
