CONTRACT NAME AND DESCRIPTION: SUPPLY, INSTALLATION, IMPLEMENTATION, TESTING,
TRAINING, COMMISSIONING AND SUPPORT OF PENSION ADMINISTRATION ENTERPRISE
RESOURCE PLANNING (ERP) SOFTWARE SOLUTION
1. JKUAT Staff Retirement Benefits Scheme (JKUAT SRBS) invites sealed bids from
eligible tenderers for Supply, Installation, Implementation, Testing, Training,
Commissioning and Support of Pension Administration Enterprise Resource
Planning (ERP) Software Solution
2. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method (National) using a
standardized tender document. Tendering is open to all eligible, qualified and
interested Tenderers.
3. Interested eligible tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect
the tender documents from JKUAT SRBS offices located at 13th floor One
Padmore Place, off George Padmore Road Kilimani during normal working
hours.
4. A complete set of tender documents may be purchased or obtained by
interested tenders upon payment of a non- refundable fees of Five thousand
(Ksh 5,000.00) payable by direct deposit to the Scheme bank account
number 1291164588 held with Kenya Commercial Bank Limited JKUAT
Branch, Nairobi. Interested eligible Tenderers may alson obtain the Tender
document by down loading from the Public Procurement Information Portal;
https://tenders.go.ke/ free of charge. Tenderers downloading documents
shall advise the Procurement Entity that they have downloaded the tender
documents, giving full contact addresses of the tenderer to
pension@jkuat.ac.ke to facilitate any further clarification or addendum.
5. Completed tender documents are to be enclosed in plain sealed envelopes
marked with tender reference number and be deposited in the Tender Box
at JKUAT SRBS scheme offices at 13th floor One Padmore Place (or be
addressed to the Fund Administrator) at the address below to be received
on or before 12.00 NOON ON Friday, 3rd November 2023. Electronic Tenders
will not be permitted
6. All Tenders in one (1) original plus one (1) copy properly filled in, and enclosed
in plain sealedenvelopes must be delivered to the address below and
marked:

7. Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter the deadline date and time
for submissionof tenders in the presence of the Candidates or their
representatives who choose to attend atthe JKUAT SRBS Board room located
at the 13th Floor, One Padmore place, off George Padmore Road, Kilimani,
Nairobi.
8. Prices quoted should be Gross inclusive of all taxes and delivery must be in
Kenya Shillingsand shall remain valid for One Hundred and Twenty (120) days
from the closing date of the tender.
9. Tenderers shall be required to submit a Tender Security amounting to Kshs.
400,000 (Four Hundred Thousand) in the form of a Banker’s guarantee or an
Insurance CompanyGuarantee issued by an insurance firm approved by the
Insurance Regulatory Authority (IRA), cash, letter of credit or guarantee by a
deposit taking microfinance institution, Sacco society, the Youth Enterprise
Development Fund or the Women Enterprise Fund valid for 150 days from the
date of tender opening in the format providedin the tender document.
