TENDER FOR LEASE OF OFFICE SPACE IN WAJIR TOWN |

The Kenya National Commission on Human Rights (KNCHR) is a constitutional Commission established under the Article 59 (1) of the Constitution of Kenya (2010) and operationalized by the KNCHR Act No. 14 of 2011 with the core mandate of protecting and promoting the observance of human rights in Kenya.
The Commission invites sealed tenders from eligible property owners or their authorized agents for lease of office space in Wajir Town.
Interested eligible bidders may download tender documents from KNCHR Website, https://vvww.knchr.org at no cost. Hard copies of the tender documents can be obtained from KNCHR offices, located on 1st Floor CVS Plaza, along Kasuku/Lenana Road Junction between 8.30am and 4.00pm Monday to Friday, at a non- refundable fee of Kshs.1000 per document payable in cash or bankers’ cheque. Bidders who download the tender document from the websites will be required to immediately register their details by sending an email to procurementTeam@knchr.org. This will facilitate communication in case of any further information.
Prices quoted should be net inclusive of all taxes, and levies, must be in Kenya Shillings and shall remain valid for ISO days from the closing date of the tender. Tenders must be accompanied by a tender security of Kenya Shillings Ten Thousand (Kshs 10,000) from a reputable financial institution, Insurance Company or a banker’s cheque payable to the Kenya National Commission on Human Rights and must be valid for 150 days from the closing date of the tender.
Completed Tender documents in a plain sealed outer envelope enclosing separately sealed envelopes (in “Original” and “Copy”) all clearly marked TENDER NO. KNCHR/3/2023-2024 should be addressed to:

Or be deposited in the tender box placed at the KNCHR offices as indicated above, on or before 23rd November, 2023 at 12.00 noon East African Time.
Tender documents will be opened immediately thereafter in the presence of tenderers and/or their representatives who choose to attend in the main Boardroom located on the 1st floor, CVS plaza. Any document received after the due time and date shall be rejected and returned unopened.
The Commission reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders and is not bound to assign reasons thereof.
