INVITATION TO TENDER
TENDER NO IRA/098/2022 – 2023

TENDER FOR PROVISION OF DÉCOR SERVICES FOR INSURANCE OPEN DAY/EXHIBITION IN MOMBASA, NAKURU & COUNTIES
1. The Insurance Regulatory Authority (IRA) is a state Regulatory Agency established in 2007
through an Act of parliament of Cap 487 of the Laws of Kenya with a mandate to regulate,
supervise and promote the development of Insurance Industry in Kenya.
2. IRA invites sealed tenders from eligible Suppliers/ service providers for the Provision Décor
Services for Insurance Open Days/Exhibition in Mombasa, Nakuru & Kisumu Counties.
This tender is eligible only to firms owned by Youth, Women, and Persons with Disability
(YWPD). The firms should be duly registered with National Treasury or County treasury and
hold valid AGPO certificate.
3. Tendering will be conducted under National open tendering method using a standardized
tender document. Tendering is open to all qualified and interested tenderers.
4. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender
Documents during office hours 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the address given below;
5. A complete set of tender documents may be purchased or obtained by interested tenderers
electronically from IRA’s Website www.ira.go.ke and / or Public Procurement Information
Portal www.tenders.go.ke. Tender documents obtained electronically will be free of charge.
6. Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their particulars as provided
on page vii of tender document immediately to Office of Senior Manager Supply Chain
Management procurement@ira.go.ke to facilitate any further clarification or addendum.
7. All Tenders must be accompanied by Tender Securing Declaration Form.
8. The bidder shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted
including all attachments from first to the last page in the form of 1,2,3,… n
9. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before 18th December
2023 at 11:00 a.m. and be deposited in the Tender Box situated at Insurance Regulatory

Authority, Zep-Re Place, 10th Floor, Longonot Road, Upper Hill, Nairobi or be addressed to:

Bulky tenders which will not fit in the tender box shall be delivered to the office of the Senior
Manager, Supply Chain Management situated on 10th floor Zep-Re Place and
acknowledgement receipt.
10.Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any
dead line date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of
the Tenderers’ designated representatives who choose to attend at the address above.
11.IRA is a corruption free organization. Any pressure, influence or attempt should be reported
immediately to CEO, IRA through the address provided above or e-mail ethics@ira.go.ke
12.Late tenders will be rejected.
