INVITATION TO TENDER
CONSTRUCTION THE COUNTY TREASURY COMPLEX IN KWALE.

TENDER REFERENCE NUMBER: CGK/1381047/2023-2024
1. The Kwale County Government through the County Department of Executive Services, Finance &
Economic Planning invitessealed tenders for the Construction and Completion of the County Treasury
Complex in Kwale HQs.
2. Tendering will be conducted under National Open competitive method using a standardized tender
document. Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents
during office hours 0800-1500 at the Procurement Office, County Treasury, Opp Kwale Police Station.
4. A complete set of tender documents may be obtained by interested tenders for free. Tender documents
shall be may be obtained electronically from the www.kwalecountygov.com or www.tenders.go.ke .
Tender documents obtained electronically will be free of charge.
5. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website
www.kwalecountygov.com .Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their
particulars immediately to info@kwale.go.ke to facilitate any further clarification or addendum.
6. Bidders shall dully fill all the tender document bills i.e. Bill 3-schedule of day rates-labour (Project
Manager, Site Engineer, Site Forman, Artisan/Skilled Personnel, Unskilled Personnel), Bill 4 schedule
of day rates- Materials (Sand, Ballast, Cement, BRC mesh A-142, D8, D10, D12, D16 Macine cut
coral blocks) and Bill 5-Schedule of rates contractors equipments. (Concrete Mixer, Vibrator,
Generator, Roller compactor, welding machine, tipper, water bowser, surveying equipments)
7. Bidder shall declare though own letter head of all on going works
8. Tenders shall be quoted be in Kenya Shillings and shall include all taxes. Tenders shall remain valid
for (126) days from the date of opening of tenders.
9. All Tenders must be accompanied by a tender security of Kshs. 1,000,000 (one million shillings) from
authorized financial services providers approved by the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority.
10. The Tenderer shall chronologically submit all pages of the tender documents submitted in pdf format.
11. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before 30th January, Thursday,
10:30am,2024 electronically via www.supplier.treasury.go.ke .
12. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any dead line
date and times pecified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’
designated representatives who choose to attend at the Procurement Office, County Treasury,Kwale.
13. Late tenders will be rejected.
