The (Department of Water, Irrigation, Environment, and Climate Change) invitessealed tendersforthe REQUEST FOR
EXPRESSION OF INTEREST ON FLOOD RISK ASSESSMENT AND DEVELOPING A FLOOD EMERGENCY RESPONSE STRATEGY FOR MACHAKOS COUNTY
Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method (National) using a standardized tender document.
Tendering is open to all qualified and interestedTenderers.
In case tenderissubject to multiple contracts/lots, insert “Tenderers will be allowed to tender for one ormore
lots”.

1. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information during office hours 9.00AM TO
5.00PM Monday to Friday in writing via email suuplychain@machakos.go.ke . Tender documents
may be viewed and/or downloaded from the website: www.machakos.go.ke or
supplier.treasury.go.ke or public procurement informational portal (PPIP).
2. Tender documents may be obtained electronically from the Website(s) www.machakos.go.ke,
www.suppliers.treasury.go.ke or Public procurement information portal www.tenders.go.ke free of charge.
3. Interested and eligible bidders having challenge uploading their tenders documents in the intergrated financial
management information system (IFMIS), supplier portal may obtain assistance from IFMIS helpdesk on
0800721477/0202480180 at National treasury.
4. Tenders shall be quoted be in Kenya Shillings and shall include all taxes. Tenders shall remain valid for (119)
days fromthe date of opening oftenders.
5. All Tenders must be accompanied by a “tender Security” ofksh. 140,000/=.
6. TheTenderershall chronologically serialize all pages ofthe tender documentssubmitted.
7. Completed tenders must be SUBMITTED ONLINE VIA THE IFMIS SUPPLIER PORTAL
(supplier.treasury.go.ke) on or before 12TH JUNE, 2024

Electronic Tenders will be permitted.
9. Tenders will be opened immediately after the close date on IFMIS portal. Bidders are advised to monitor the
opening process through the same portal.
10. Late tenderswill be rejected. The system will automatically lock out late submissions.
