COUNTY GOVERNMENT OF NYAMIRA TENDER JUNE 2024 

INVITATION TO TENDER PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION AND COMPLETION OF BOMWAGAMO WARD OFFICE

TENDER NO.1511734-2024/2025

1. The County Assembly invites sealed bids from eligible candidates to apply “PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION
AND COMPLETION OF BOMWAGAMO WARD OFFICE” as indicated below;
2. This is A MULTIYEAR PROJECT
3. Tendering will be conducted under Open Competitive Method National using a standardized tender document
and in this regard, Tendering is open to THE PRE-QUALIFIED SUPPLIERS.
4. Qualified and interested tenderers May obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents during
office hours [0800 to 1700 hours] at the address given below.
5. Complete set of Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the County Assembly of
Nyamira website: www.nyamiraassembly.go.ke, Public Procurement Information Portal: www.tenders.go.ke
and IFMIS Supplier Portal: www.supplier.treasury.go.ke using unique IFMIS Negotiation numbers indicated.
Tenderers who download the tender document May forward their particulars to scm@nyamira.go.ke, for any
clarification or addendum.
6. Tenders shall be quoted be in Kenya Shillings, Prices SHALL be net inclusive of all taxes and remain valid
for 150 days after date of tender opening.
7. Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Security of Kshs. 250,000 of the tender sum in form of a Bank
Guarantee from a reputable bank or guarantee from an Insurance Company approved by the Public
Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) payable to the County Assembly of Nyamira.
8. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
9. Complete tender documents SHALL/MUST be submitted through the IFMIS Supplier Portal
(www.suppliers.treasury.go.ke) as per the requirements contained in the document SO AS TO BE received
on or before 27th June, 2024 at 12:15 pm. AND MANUAL TENDER DOCUMENTS SUBMISION
SHALL NOT BE ALLOWED.
10. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above. Tenders will be publicly
opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives who choose to attend at the address
below.
11. The system will REJECT all late tenders after the stipulated deadline date.
12. Mandatory pre-tender site visit will be held on 20
th June 2024 at 0900 -1600 HOURS starting from the office
of the Clerk, infrastructure/Supply Chain Management. All prospective bidders are advised to make their own
Transport arrangement to and from the site.
13. Bidders are advised to visit the County Assembly of Nyamira website www.nyamiraassembly.go.ke from
time to time before deadline for submission of tender documents in case of issuance of addendum/s and
any relevant communication about the tenders as and when it may be deemed necessary.

National Treasury. Bidders are also notified that tender documents submitted manually shall not be accepted.
All tenders must be submitted through IFMIS platform.
