KENYA TOURIST BOARD (KTB) TENDER JULY 2024  

Introduction
Kenya Tourist Board (KTB) will be participating at the BRIDE & GROOM 2024 Expo from 28th to 30th June 2024 together with 4 companies (Hoteliers and Tour Operators).

Briefing;
KTB is sourcing the services of a suitable stand design and construction company to submit a proposal for the following undertaking;
1) Design and construct an exhibition stand to cater for KTB and 4 other co-exhibitors on a space of 36 square meters as per the attached layout of the exhibition hall, with
exhibitor stations, hospitality area, meeting area and a storage room.
2) Build the exhibit, and hand over the same to KTBs representative or Project Manager by 1200hrs on 27th June, 2024 and break down the same on 30th April and dispose the components after the exhibition closes.
3) Avail furniture for all 4 co-exhibitors. Each exhibitor; one (1) round table with three (3) chairs, brochure -display shelves, company name signage.
4) Avail 1 information or reception counter that can accommodate two (2) staff. It should have 2 stools and lockable cabinets for keeping promotional materials.
5) Provide the following common areas within the stand:
i. Storage room with solid shelves for brochure boxes and hooks for coats
ii. Meeting area. (Furnish with 4 tub chairs, coffee table, potted plants and
appropriate branding material on walls)
iii. Refreshments bar for hospitality function and service of beverages and
snacks, including fridge, hot water kettle, coffee making machine and a hot
and cold water dispenser.

6) Install or put orders for all required services as below and install to a working condition;
i. Electricity
ii. Internet WiFi and related equipment (routers) for 10 users.
iii. Audio-visual equipment; 1 (one) 50” plasma screen and DVD player with
replay function and complete with remote control units.
iv. Kitchen equipment: small fridge, coffee-making machine (filter), hot water
kettle and a hot and cold water dispenser
v. Stand cleaning and waste removal
vi. Potted plants in terra-cotta pots x 3 in number

7) Print, mount and display all graphics on the walls and signage for exhibitors. (Images
for graphics shall be provided).
8) Do appropriate wiring for lighting and sockets providing a socket for the audio visual
equipment, each exhibitor table, reception desk and also the refreshments bar.
9) Provide stand by technical back-up services for internet access, electricity and
structural maintenance of all installed equipment during the period of the exhibition.
10) Simple, modern with subtle hints of rustic. Earth colours.
Submission Guidelines
Submit one envelope with the design (technical proposals) and the other with the cost
(financial proposal) all put into a larger envelope.
Deadline for submissions: On or before: 10th July 2024 AT 10.00 A.M. KENYA TIME
