DISPOSAL OF MOTORVEHICLES
MINISTRY OF ROADS AND TRANSPORT TENDER AUGUST 2024
STATE DEPARTMENT FOR TRANSPORT
The Ministry of Roads and Transport (State Department for Transport) intends to dispose vehicles as indicated herein below. In adherence to Section 165 (1) (b) of the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act, 2015, interested buyers are hereby invited to submit their quotations of purchase prices using standard documents as provided

CONDITIONS OF SALE
- Vehicles are sold on a “As is, where is’
- All Bids must be accompanied by an advanced refundable deposit of KES 20,000/= (Twenty Thousand) for items 1-5 and KES 250,000/= (Two hundred Fifty Thousand) for item 6.
- Any offer received after bid closing date will be rejected and returned unopened
- Bidders may, at their own volition, view the motor vehicles at the specified storage yards before placing a bid.
- A complete set of tender documents may be obtained by interested tenders from the Website www.tenders.go.ke and www.transport.go.ke . No physical documents shall be issued
- Any requests for clarification to be submitted to procurement@transport.go.ke or
scms@transport.go.ke five (5) days before the closure of the invitation - Electronic tender submission shall not be accepted but bidders who decide to participate in
the bidding process are required to submit their details through either of the e-mail
addresses above
The bids in plain sealed envelopes must be delivered to the address below on or before 3rd
September, 2024 at 1000hrs and deposited in the tender box located at the entrance of the State
Department of Transport.
