PROVISION OF COMPREHENSIVE MEDICAL INSURANCE COVER FOR COUNTY GOVERNMENT OF NAKURU STAFF
The County Government of Nakuru invites sealed tenders for the Provision of Comprehensive
Medical Insurance Cover for County Government of Nakuru Staff. The contract will be for a
period of TWO Years. This Tender is open to all qualified and interested Underwriters and Insurance Brockers
1. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive tendering method using
a standardized tender document and is open to all qualified and interested
Tenderers. Tenderers will be allowed to tender for one or more items.
2. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect
the Tender Documents during office hours. [0900 to 1700 hours] at the address
given below. Tender documents may be viewed and/or downloaded from the
website
www.nakuru.go.ke, the IFMIS tender portal www.supplier.treasury.go.ke. Or
www.tenders.go.ke Using the IFMIS unique negotiation number indicated above.
3. A Completed tender documents must be submitted through the IFMIS portal
www.treasury.go.ke as per requirements contained in the document so as to
be received on or before FRIDAY 13 TH SEPTEMBER, 2024 at 10:00am as
indicated in the IFMIS.
4. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website
www.supplier.treasury.go.ke. www.nakuru.go.ke or www.tenders.go.ke .
Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their particulars
immediately to procurement.nakurucounty@gmail.com to facilitate any
further clarification or addendum.
5. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender-Security of Kshs.3,000,000.00
(THREE Million).
6. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.

7. Tender documents must be submitted in both soft (Through IFMIS supplier
portal) and hard copies in the manner described in the Invitation Notice.
8. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before FRIDAY 13
TH SEPTEMBER, 2024 at 10:00am. Through Electronic Tenders and
a replica of hard copy submitted to the physical address given. Incase of a
different between the one hard delivered and the one delivered through IFMIS
process, this will lead to disqualification.
9. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified
above or any deadline date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly

opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives who
choose to attend at the address below.
10. The Procuring Entity aims to get the best services for its Staff and the Applicants
Must be companies with known reputation for medical insurance services and
proven efficiency in Claims settlement. It must also have a wide acceptance
across multiple Hospital outlets and specialist Clinics
11. Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter in the presence of the Tenderers
or candidates’ representatives who choose to attend at the County HQ
12. Late tenders will be rejected.
