SHARED VALUE PARTNERSHIP CO-FUNDING ARRANGEMENT

DAI GLOBAL LLC through USAID – Western Kenya Water Project (WKWP) is seeking potential and interested partners/Offerors to partner with for the procurement of electro-mechanical works to upgrade community water points under shared value partnership co-funding arrangement in 8 counties within Western Kenya, namely: Busia, Bungoma, Kakamega, Kisumu, Siaya, Migori, Kisii & Homabay.

The co-funding model is looking at attracting Offerors willing to leverage the costs of the works mentioned above on 50/50 ratio. Offerors willing to leverage higher ratios encouraged to apply.

This call for proposal is open to the public from Thursday 3rd Oct to Thursday 17th Oct 2024 at 11.59am.A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held virtually on Thursday 10th Oct 2024 at 10.00am EAT.

Interested Offerors are required to meet or exceed the below eligibility (non-cost) requirements:

1. a)Must be a registered company (Attach Certificate of Incorporation).
2. b)The Contractor must possess registration in category of Water works NCA 7 or higher registration with National Construction Authority (NCA) (Attach a valid copy of the NCA).
3. c)The Contractor must possess registration as Electrical Contractor and Solar PV Contractor from EPRA (Attach valid copies of certificates).
4. d)Attach Current copy of CRI2.
5. e)Attach valid Tax Compliance Certificate or documented renewal process.
6. f)Copy of Valid Business Permit or documented renewal process.
7. g)Must attend a mandatory online pre-bid conference (link to be shared upon expression of interest).
8. h)Meet other eligibility criteria as stipulated in the Request for Proposals (RFP) document (to be shared upon expression of interest).
