INVITATION FOR TENDER

PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION OF OLULUNGA-OLEPOLOS FOOTBRIDGE IN NAROK SOUTH CONSTITUENCY, NAROK COUNTY.

TENDER No: MoLPWHUD/SDPW/002/2024-2025 

1. The State Department for Public Works invites sealed tenders for the construction of the above
works
2. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method National using a standardized tender
document. Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
3. Invited tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents during office hours
(0800 to 1600 hours) at the address given below.
4. A complete set of tender documents may be purchased or obtained by interested tenders upon payment
of a non- refundable fees of (Kshs, 1000.00) in cash or Banker’s Cheque and payable to the address
given below. Alternatively, the tender documents may be downloaded from the invited
bidders/tenderes email address. Tender documents obtained electronically will be free of charge.
5. All tenders must be accompanied by a tender Security of an amount equivalent to Kshs, 1,500,000.00
(Kshs, One Million, Five Hundred Thousand Shillings only) in form of bank quarantee from a reputable
bank or insurance companies approved by PPRA.
6. Tenderers/bidders registered under AGPO are exempted from providing the tender security.
7. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialise all pages of the tender documents submitted.
8. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before 24th
October, 2024 at 10.00
am Electronic Tenders [will not] be permitted.
9. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above. Tenders will be
opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ or designated representatives who choose to attend at the
Transcom House KBRC board room.
10. Site and pre-bid conference meeting for all prospective bidders – all bidders are advised to visit the site
as per details provided at their own convenient time.

11. Late tenders will be rejected.
12. Tenders shall be quoted be in Kenya Shillings and shall include all taxes. Tenders shall remain
valid for 154 days from the date of opening of tenders or as indicated in the advertisement
